Who are Dune Buggy?

Dune Buggy is the creation of two brothers, nicknamed “The White Buggy Brothers”, who had a dream to create a quality tourist attraction on the beautiful island of Fuerteventura. With the help of several other business partners the dream became reality and today Dune Buggy is Fuerteventuras ultimate Buggy excursion company. The family ethos is strong and sons, wives, mum, dad and in laws are also part of the Dune Buggy. It is the Casettori and Cantini family collaboration together with expert local businessmen Simone, Luis and Bassam that have made Dune Buggy a successfull tourist attraction very quickly.

Dune Buggy is truly a family business and thats what makes its customer service so authentic. Their love of Fuerteventura and its natural beauty inspired them to move to the island and leave the hectic city life behind. How did Dune Buggy first take off?

In the summer of 2013 Gianluca the eldest of the White Buggy Brothers, booked a family holiday to Fuerteventura. He and his family, wife and sons, fell in love with the nature and tranquility of Fuerteventura straight away. He had been wanting to change his lifestyle and move from a hectic and stressfull city to an island for some time. But how? He needed a profession that would enable him to move his family to this little paradise. During his holiday he took a buggy excersion and enjoyed the thrilling tour but felt that larger better quality buggies would give a better experience. He was offered to buy an existing Buggy Company but decided to go it alone and start fresh and brand new... On this holiday he met Simone who would become a business partner and trusted friend.

Gianluca saw a gap in the tourism market for top quality buggy and quad excursions. He wanted to bring a better quality of buggy to the island for tourists to gain a better driving experience. Safer newer buggies would also be better for families with children and as a father himself he made this Paramount.

Returning from his holiday full of ideas he told his brother Daniele about his plan and he also really passionate to become part of the Dune Buggy dream. The next year 2014 the brothers visited Fuerteventura again and with help of a friend, Simone, who had been resident in Fuerteventura for many years, joined forces and they started the process of opening the Dune Buggy business. One more business partner, Luis, who had local influence made the process of opening Dune Buggy fast and efficient. Simone’s brother in law also works as a tour guide and photographer. Later on Bassam joined the venture and also his wife who has worked a long time in the tourism industry supported her husband to make important contacts for the company.

In November 2014 was concieved Dune Buggy S.L. B76207372 registred licenced number for the buggy Company; only one more buggy company has a legal licence to do the tours. The official first day of Dune Buggy tour was on April 4 th 2015 and since then Dune Buggy has been touring daily 7 days a week. Their populary has grown and today they are know also as the ´White Buggies, Best Buggies!.

Its worth a mention that The Buggy brothers dream couldn’t have become reality without the family support network. Today their parents also live in Fuerteventura as well as the in laws, sons, wives, cousins, practically the whole family has settled in Fuerteventura and helps out running Dune buggy. Occasionally Gianluca’s father and his father in law help washing the buggies and doing the hotel tranfer of clients. Gianluca sons are both tour guides and one of them also works sometimes as a seller, and his wife wife has being doing a great advertising and photography work on Face Book for the Company. Both of the White Buggy Brothers’ wives as well keep them well fed and full of energy for their Buggy adventures!
